Course Description

Computer science is a fast-moving field that brings together disciplines including mathematics, engineering, the natural sciences, psychology and linguistics. Our course is broad and deep – providing you with skills highly prized in industry and for research, and giving skills to create future technology. All aspects of modern computer science are covered, along with the underlying theory and foundations in economics, law and business. You also develop practical skills, such as programming and hardware systems. The course offers an optional fourth year leading to an MEng degree (progression to the fourth year is dependent on satisfactory performance).

Including a relevant subject/science @ C or above (80 UCAS tariff points)

31-30 overall or 665-655 in 3 HL subjects.

Other qualifications at a level equivalent to A Levels and IB Higher Levels are also accepted, including Scottish Advanced Highers, Welsh qualifications, the Irish Leaving Certificate, and a range of European and overseas qualifications. For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental.
