Course Description

The Cambridge Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) is a 20 month programme delivered over 16 weekends and four week-long blocks, most of which are at Cambridge Judge Business School. It is designed specifically for executives who have already reached a senior level and are now looking at leading roles within their organisations. The programme develops both hard and soft skills and provides practical, relevant knowledge to enable participants to play a leading role in their organisation.

Assessment shall consist of a number of written papers, essays, coursework, presentations, group projects, individual projects or another mode of assessment agreed by the Faculty Board.

We require a first-class or a strong upper second-class honours degree on the UK grading scale or international equivalent or 65% or above from universities who use a percentage scale.

Successful applicants to our EMBA programmes are typically established senior executives with management responsibilities (teams, resources, budgets and/or projects). You must have strong leadership potential and a clear motivation for applying to an executive programme. We are especially interested in the professional skills you’ve developed, and how the Cambridge and Global EMBA will accelerate your development.

You’ll need to demonstrate your employment status when you apply for one of our EMBA programmes. You’re also expected to keep working full-time while you study so you apply what you learn and share your experiences with classmates.

We welcome applications from contractors and consultants. You’ll need to show evidence of employment as a condition of your offer.

London costs approx 34% more than average, mainly due to rent being 67% higher than average of other cities. For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental. Students in smaller cities where accommodation is in walking/biking distance transport costs tend to be significantly smaller.
