Course Overview
Want to work in the area of adult and young people’s sexual health? This BSc in Sexual Health is the UK’s first non-clinical undergraduate programme available on UCAS.

- The course is more relevant than ever as new regulations have made Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) compulsory in schools in England and Wales.
- Subjects covered include contraception, unplanned pregnancy, sexual health, asymptomatic screening for STIs, blood borne viruses, sexual health policy, safeguarding, sex and relationships education, motivational interviewing and enhanced communication skills.
- In year two, you will undertake a placement in a sexual Health related field. This year, students have undertaken work experience at Manchester MASH, Participation Works, Community Education Sexual Health (NHS), Renaissance, and many more.

- A multi-dimensional means of assessment allows you to build on your personal confidence and develop knowledge related to sexual health.
