Course Description

This exciting course will provide graduates with both theoretical and applied knowledge of current fields in bioscience.

During this course, there will be a particular focus on the application of knowledge and the role of bioscience in modern society. Our course will consider the interaction of biological systems on multiple levels – from molecular biology to whole organism biology within the context of global ecosystems. It will allow graduates to develop the skills to apply concepts in bioscience to solving practical problems. Theoretical knowledge will be reinforced and supplemented with a strong applied and practical focus.

The University of Chester, as the name suggests, is a university located in Chester. The university is formally affiliated with the Christian faith, but they make it clear in their mission statement that students of all faiths or no faith at all are welcome at their university. Chester operates from a total of six campuses, five of which are in Chester, the other in Warrington, with the main campus building being known as Parkgate Road Campus.
