The Subject Enrichment Week for Modern Foreign Languages trainees has allowed individuals to pursue specific directed work in their chosen countries. Many trainees choose to visit schools abroad to look at how languages are taught. It offers a welcome opportunity to brush up on second language proficiency and collect resources for use in the classroom.

Get advice on which foundation courses are best for you to still study PGCE Secondary Modern Languages (German - R2X1), PGCE, if you do not meet the minimum requirements in terms of UCAS score, A levels, or English language requirements.

Applicants will normally:

hold or be expected to gain a minimum 2:2 honours degree (preferred 2:1)

have GCSE grade C/grade 4 or above in English Language and Maths.

About University of Chester

The University of Chester, as the name suggests, is a university located in Chester. The university is formally affiliated with the Christian faith, but they make it clear in their mission statement that students of all faiths or no faith at all are welcome at their university.
