Course Description

f you love sport and want to help others get the most out of their abilities and talents, then this course, which combines formal learning with practical application, is ideal for you. You’ll learn the skills needed to become an inspiring, motivating coach as well as how to design a training programme and analyse performance. You could end up mentoring top athletes or inspiring schoolchildren – we’ll help you to follow the coaching path that excites you most.

The coaches we help develop have a fine reputation, especially because they have already gained proper experience before they graduate.

So, after your three years with us, you’ll be well placed to find employment, with the latest statistics showing that 90 per cent of our graduates are either in work or involved in further study within six months of graduating. Much of that is down to UEL's growing reputation as a hotbed of sporting excellence.

This programme is delivered in collaboration with Premier League club West Ham United's Foundation.

London costs approx 34% more than average, mainly due to rent being 67% higher than average of other cities. For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental. Students in smaller cities where accommodation is in walking/biking distance transport costs tend to be significantly smaller.

The University of East London, often abbreviated to UEL, states their goal being to become the leading careers-focused university in the United Kingdom. UEL operates from three different campuses; Stratford Campus, Docklands Campus, and University Square Stratford.
