Course Description

  • Equips you with the skills required to enter a diverse group of related fields, from heritage management to consultancy roles with non-governmental organisations (NGOs) or multinational businesses

  • Draws upon cutting-edge theory and adopts a global, interdisciplinary approach and gain theoretical and methodological training and experience the challenge of practical problem-based learning

  • Taught in collaboration with leading interdisciplinary researchers and industry specialists from across the university

  • Regular opportunities to visit national heritage sites and an inclusive international field trip to Vancouver, Canada (international field trip - MA/PgDip only)

  • Optional work placement offers you the chance to find and organise your own placement or project in line with your individual professional goals

  • Well placed to take advantage of UNESCO world heritage sites across the South West of England

London costs approx 34% more than average, mainly due to rent being 67% higher than average of other cities. For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental. Students in smaller cities where accommodation is in walking/biking distance transport costs tend to be significantly smaller.

About University of Exeter

The University of Exeter is a government funded research university based in Exeter, Devon, in the South-West region of England. The university has two campuses in Exeter, which are known as Streatham and St Luke’s, while another two are situated in the coastal town of Cornwall, known as Truro and Penryn. Something for prospective students to be aware of is that the University Exeter works in collaboration with Falmouth University under the Combined Universities in Cornwall initiative.
