Course Description
BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING (5 year MEng programme): Biomedical engineering is about finding engineering solutions to medical problems. As a rapidly expanding industry, biomedical engineering meets the demands of healthcare through the development of technology.
You’ll take part in practical activities including visits to local hospitals. You will benefit from our strong links with industry and the NHS, with engineers and clinicians contributing to lectures, projects and case studies, as well as offering work placements.

Additional requirements: A-level Mathematics and Physics. (Design & Technology may be accepted in place of Physics, 3D or Product Design options only)
AAAB at S5 will be considered. Typically S6 entrants will have AAAAAA at Higher. (B at Advanced Higher is equivalent to A at Higher) Additional requirements: Higher Mathematics and Physics or Engineering Science.
Additional requirements: HL Mathematics (Analysis & Approaches) and Physics. (SL6 can be accepted for either Mathematics or Physics).
Applicants who do not meet the requirements for MEng could be considered for BEng
