Course Description

SPANISH:- Spanish is the second most widely spoken language in the world and is an official language in more than 20 countries. Staff in Glasgow cover a wide range of topics and you will have the opportunity to work with native speakers from different parts of the Spanish-speaking world. ITALIAN:- Studying Italian opens up the language and culture of a major EU country that has played a key role in Europe's political and artistic development. Glasgow has a long tradition of teaching in Italian studies, supported by excellent library resources in the subject. You will be taught in small groups, mostly by native speakers of Italian, giving you the opportunity to develop a high level of fluency in written and spoken Italian. Graduates with qualifications in modern languages and cultures have gone on to pursue rewarding careers in the media, teaching, journalism, tourism, translating and interpreting, and the Civil Service, as well as business, commerce and marketing.

The ancient University of Glasgow owns and manages three distinct campus locations: Gilmorehill, Garscube, and Dumfries campus.
