Our Ecology and Environmental Science degree will give you the skills you need for a successful career, addressing the environmental challenges facing our planet. You’ll develop your knowledge in key themes such as conservation, ecological theory and environmental change, while building advanced skills in lab work, ecological surveying and geographic information systems. With opportunities to gain experience working with organisations such as Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, Ecotricity, Kier Construction and BirdLife International, our graduates stand out from the competition.
You’ll draw on the expertise of experienced lecturers awarded for their teaching excellence and media work, and internationally recognised for their leading research. There are even opportunities for field studies in UK settings such as Snowdonia, as well as research trips to unforgettable overseas locations such as the Swiss Alps (additional costs may apply, see course web page for details).
