Course Description

Our mathematics with business degree gives you a knowledge of mathematics and business processes and the ability to apply them to real-life problems.

Our highly regarded mathematics courses were ranked in the top 10 in the UK in the 2019 Guardian University Guide. This includes our mathematics with business degree, which covers topics such as logical analysis, deduction, mathematical modelling, business processes and calculation. You will also learn to use some of the mathematical software packages to analyse data.

You will gain a theoretical and practical knowledge of mathematics, enabling you to solve a range of complex business problems. Business is a minor component of the degree and accounts for a quarter of your studies.

Many industries can benefit from graduates able to combine intellectual and mathematical abilities with business awareness and acumen, so our graduates can explore a variety of career options.
