Course Description
Study paramedic science with us and benefit from our strong links with the London Ambulance Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service, where you will undertake your clinical work-based practice.
This paramedic science degree, run by experienced paramedics and healthcare educators, will prepare you for challenging roles on the front line of emergency care. Our course combines academic study with clinical placements where a range of health professionals will assist in your paramedic training.
Students studying at Avery Hill Campus will undertake a clinical work-based practice with the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust. Medway Campus students will work with South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust. This degree will prepare you to apply to register with the Health and Care Professions Council as a paramedic.
All paramedic science students on courses from September 2020 will benefit from guaranteed, additional support of at least £5,000 a year, which they will not need to pay back.
