From the biggest brands to up-and-coming influencers, promotional culture is all around us. Our unique degree helps you develop the skills and knowledge you need to work in this exciting digital world.

You’ll learn a blend of creative, analytical and technical abilities, from studying the media industries to cutting edge skills in carrying out your own audience research.

We’ll also give you the chance to write advertising copy and press releases, make and distribute promotional videos, plan media campaigns and manage social media accounts.

Applicants with prior learning or prior experiential learning will be considered individually by the School of Music, Humanities and Media Accreditation and Validation Panel, to assess whether it is appropriate to grant general or specific credit towards the course. Applications from international students will be considered on an individual basis, and with advice from the University's International Office. The University of Huddersfield is a research university which is maintained through public funding, based in Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, England. The university’s main campus, known as Queensgate, is located within just five minute’s walking distance of Huddersfield city centre.
