Foundation Year

Our Foundation Year provides an excellent alternative route to Keele, providing a unique opportunity to better prepare for your chosen degree, and with guaranteed entry onto your undergraduate course once you successfully complete your Foundation Year. This extra year of study can improve your academic skills, expand your subject knowledge, give you a better understanding of higher education and, perhaps most importantly of all, build your confidence. On the Keele Foundation Year, you'll study on campus, joining our undergraduate community from the outset, with access to all the facilities and support that you'd get as an undergraduate student at Keele.

Our Business Management and Finance BSc will develop your general business knowledge and insight into the management of different organisations, with a specific focus on financial markets and institutions. The course aim is to give you a valuable set of transferable skills to boost your future employability.

You will start your Business Management and Finance BSc by studying the core aspects of financial and management accounting such as balance sheets, budgeting and income statements. You will improve your techniques in preparing key financial statements and using IT to prepare accounting information and strengthen your essential quantitative techniques for developing models and presenting data.

Established in 1949, Keele University is located in the rural setting of the large town of Newcastle under Lyme.
