Our Economics BSc curriculum is designed to prepare you for a dynamic and varied career where you will put in to practice the theory and skills you’ve learnt throughout your studies. We aim for you to graduate with a portfolio of desirable transferable skills and the key economic knowledge employers are looking for.

You will study economics in depth to improve your understanding of the different economic decisions families, companies and governments make, and examine how economic markets function and the impact of fiscal and monetary policies.

Throughout the Economics BSc microeconomics and macroeconomics are thoroughly explored, giving you an insight into how consumers and organisations make decisions, and how prices and quantities of goods are established, complemented by looking at living standards and growth, unemployment, inflation, public policies and public finance.
