Course Description

This course allows you to apply high-level academic and practical management skills to the diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries arising from sport and physical activity. On completion, you will have been taught the necessary skills to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal injuries in the physically active. You will also be eligible for membership of the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT) and benefit from the professional industry insight they provide.

Recognised by the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT) for the purpose of bestowing the title of Graduate Sport Rehabilitator (GSR) and entering onto the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) in Health and Social Care Accredited Voluntary Register.

BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate: D plus AB in two A Levels to include English. Preferred:- Performing Arts, Art & Design, Digital Film and Video Production,Business IT, Applied Science,Sport, Sport and Exercise Science

Five GCSEs at grade C or 4 (or above) required. Must include English Language, Mathematics and a Science. UK Equivalencies (such as Key Skills/ Functional Skills level 2 Numeracy/ Literacy) are accepted. Applicants with non UK qualifications will need to meet the minimum GCSE requirements with a satisfactory GCSE equivalent qualification.
