Course Description

Built on the principles of ‘real world learning’, this is the only hotel and hospitality management degree in the UK that is run in direct partnership with a five-star hotel, The Celtic Manor Resort.

USW's ground-breaking partnership with the Celtic Manor Resort and Campus Living Villages aims to produce the next generation of hotel and hospitality managers. Through a combination of classroom-based learning and practical experience, you’ll gain a detailed understanding of every aspect of the hotel business, as well as exposure to the workings of a five-star venue.

You will have the opportunity to develop practical and professional skills from the ground up. This includes exposure to industry experts from all areas of the hotel and hospitality industry, through on-job training, interactive workshops and individual coaching sessions. This practical learning is underpinned by theory, so you will also learn about concepts of hospitality operations and management at USW's Newport campus.
