Course Description

You’ll study essential business modules and specialist modules. These include commercial procurement, projects and operations management, logistics and materials management, strategic procurement and commercial relationships, and supply chain risk and sustainability.

This mix of general and specialist modules reflects real life, and enables you to learn about different parts of a business supply chain and the interconnectivity of suppliers, and how working together generates value. Through our strong links with industry, you’ll also learn methodologies and techniques used in the workplace. You will also have the opportunity to take part in industry visits, with recent examples including GE Aviation, Continental Teves, and Tesco Distribution Centres. You’ll gain the knowledge and ability to work in many areas, including supply chain management, operations management, purchasing and logistics. The BSc (Hons) Logistics, Procurement and Supply Chain Management degree is seeking accreditation by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply and has been designed with input from leading professionals, so you can be confident you'll graduate with commercial skills that will unlock doors to higher-level jobs and impress future employers. In addition with 3 years relevant work experience you will be eligible for MCIPS.
