Course Description

The course will encompass the most relevant aspects of the scientific study of Natural History, with a strong focus on science communication, natural history filmmaking and media production. The course will have a strong emphasis on skills development and experiential learning, through hands-on experience with industry standard photographic and videography equipment, and the state of the art digital media production suite. In addition the fundamental skills of Natural History will be maintained through core modules incorporating field expeditions, field ecological techniques, data handling and research.
