Course Description

You will learn about all aspects of the music industry from composition to music software application, live recording techniques and live sound management.

You will be taught by experienced professionals, undertake real projects and take part in workshops with visiting artists. Modules in the first year include Recording Studio Engineering, Sound Engineering Fundamentals, Computer Based Audio, Composition with Music Technology, Music Production Skills and a Production Project.

An important element of the second year is a work based placement, enabling you to gain real experience and make valuable industry contacts.
