Our MSc Renewable Energy Systems Engineering is ideal for graduates from engineering, science or other relevant backgrounds who have an interest in pursuing a successful career in research, technological change and the commercialisation of renewable energy systems.

You’ll be taught by academics who are experts in their fields and have access to a range of exceptional facilities and resources.

What you will study

Created in the context of the rapid advancement of the renewable energy industry, this MSc investigates both renewable energy and systems technologies.

Throughout your studies, you’ll have opportunities to learn about major renewable energy technologies, energy-sector economics, supply-chain management and sustainable development.

This course is designed to build your competence and confidence in the research, development and engineering tasks that are demanded of scientific engineers in the renewable and sustainable development sector.

Get advice on which foundation courses are best for you to still study Renewable Energy Systems Engineering, MSc, if you do not meet the minimum requirements in terms of UCAS score, A levels, or English language requirements.

A minimum of a 2:2 UK honours degree in either Chemistry, Engineering or Physics, or a recognised equivalent international qualification. We'll also consider relevant work experience if you don't meet these requirements.

London costs approx 34% more than average, mainly due to rent being 67% higher than average of other cities. For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental. Students in smaller cities where accommodation is in walking/biking distance transport costs tend to be significantly smaller.
