Could you use your expertise to keep an eye on the health of our communities? Focus your attention on this innovative, interactive degree and gain the diagnostic, clinical, and business skills needed to work to the highest standard in this challenging and satisfying field. Immerse yourself in a practical environment from the outset with a combination of placements alongside clinical skills training, spending 19 weeks in community practice and hospital eye clinics, including an extended placement in your final year. Develop in-depth theoretical knowledge and practical experience, plus essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and patient management from an early stage. HNC in Care and Administrative Practice or Applied Science with B required in graded unit for entry to Year 1 Sufficient science and discursive subjects and a strong academic profile to be competitive. English and Maths at least at National 5 Grade B.
