Course Description
The MBA (Tourism Management) largely mirrors the generalist MBA programme but has a specialist focus.
As such, it is designed to provide insights into tourism management in today’s global, digitalised and rapidly changing environment.
The programme focuses on producing graduates with business acumen and specialised knowledge, who will be able to respond to demands, opportunities and challenges arising from the continued expansion of the Tourism industry.
The programme will specifically develop individuals’ skills to work in the Tourism industry, in a management position at either global or local levels, and to contribute to the enhancement of tourism from a sustainable perspective.
Students will learn the principles and skills which help managers to maximise the potential of organisational resources to achieve shared goals.
The programme has also been designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to conduct advanced research into a variety of organisational and leadership issues whilst focusing on the interrelationship of leadership and organisational performance.
