Course Description
There is an ever-growing demand in professional theatre for versatile practitioners – those who have a combination of top-level acting skills and professional musicianship.
This degree will help you to develop industry-level skills as an actor, as well as the ability to compose, musically direct and play music for productions.
Throughout your course, you will have access to flexible modern performance spaces and collaborative opportunities. You will also have opportunities to showcase your work to industry leading professionals during masterclasses, workshops, mock auditions, two major theatre productions and the West End agents’ showcase.
The foundation year course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to continue onto your Honours degree. You will study a range of subjects that will underpin your future study and also gain valuable experience of university life, with full access to campus facilities. Successful completion of the year allows you to progress straight onto Level 4 of this course.
