Course Description

This course is intended for students who are already qualified at level 5 (FdSc or FdA) in counselling and/or psychotherapy and who have completed an appropriately-supervised clinical placement of a minimum 100 hours.

Students taking this course are usually working in the sector and wish to study to honours level and beyond in order to enhance their academic status and/or employment and promotion prospects.

The taught sessions will be delivered at Royal Leamington Spa College or Pershore College with additional individual pastoral and dissertation tutorials.

Considerable further commitment is required for self-directed study and assessment.

A range of formative and summative assessments include essays, presentations, reports and a major dissertation project. **There are no exams associated with this course**
