Course Description

The BA (Hons) Performing Arts course is designed for students who wish to turn their creative talents and passion into a career in Theatre, Film and TV.

Alongside ensemble, theatre company style performance work, students undertake classes in Audition and Acting Techniques, Screen Acting, Voice, Singing, Improvisation, Movement and Physical Theatre, Stage Combat, Dance, Text Analysis and Interpretation.

As well as working with our passionate team of lecturers, we have an exciting programme of visiting companies and professionals. They provide workshops and lectures throughout the year, in which students can forge links with the industry.

The Awarding Body for this course is Warwickshire College

The modules are integrated into a programme of continuous assessment through assignment and performance. **There are no exams associated with this course**

This may be derived from a Level 3 qualification in a related subject or A Levels ideally including Theatre Studies. Entry requirements are for guidance only. We welcome students with equivalent qualifications and combinations. Please contact us to discuss further. The college would consider applications from mature students with relevant work experience who may not have related formal academic qualifications.

London costs approx 34% more than average, mainly due to rent being 67% higher than average of other cities. For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental. Students in smaller cities where accommodation is in walking/biking distance transport costs tend to be significantly smaller.
