Course Description

The programme covers the key knowledge, understanding and practical skills required in computer forensics, cyber defence, security and ethical hacking sectors. As internet intelligence grows, so does the need for well-trained forensic computer analysts and architects. The course is designed to develop a range of technological skills, knowledge and experiences to prepare you for an exciting career in this constantly evolving industry. You'll need to be prepared to learn fast, as security becomes an increasingly pertinent threat you'll be on the front line ready to deal with a wide range of risks and challenges.

On this course you’ll develop essential skills such as time management, teamwork and self-motivation, plus an understanding of the sensitivity and openness required to work with diverse groups.

HNDs provide nationally recognised qualifications that offer career progression, professional development, employment opportunities and further progression within Higher Education. The qualifications are made up of compulsory units and specialist units studied during the first year and second year.

Minimum Required UCAS Tariff

48 UCAS points from an appropriate level 3 qualification. English Language and maths GCSE at grade D (or grade 3) or above or equivalent. We welcome applications from international or mature students without the required formal qualifications.
