About CUNY Hunter College
PROS
- Across the board students agree that the teachers are both approachable and experts in the fields, and that you can get feedback for your assignments in a timely manner.
- The clubs and societies organized by students are a popular way to meet people. Classes are suspended for 2 hours every week so that students have time for an extracurricular activity. This improves students’ quality of life on campus.
- Athletics are taken very seriously at Hunter College, having produced a number of Olympic athletes. Those interested in sports are in luck at CUNY.
CONS
- As it’s a commuter university, there are not many people on campus on the weekends.
- The quality and variety of the food available on campus are often criticized here. The cafeteria menu repeats too much, according to students at CUNY.
