“I’m having to work part-time while studying at HAUC, and I must say that it has been surprisingly easy to balance it with my routine here. The workload isn’t too intense, so it’s perfect for me.”

“It is a small campus so it’s easy to get to know people and make friends. My experience has been good overall, although there is a need for improvement in the careers office.”

“I’ve received no help towards my placement year from the career services team, and myself and others still have nowhere to go. The lecturers are generally supportive, which makes up for the other aspects I mentioned.”

CONS

  • Students complain that the student union bar is as expensive as a normal pub, and that it is outdated and poorly managed. Learners would like to see prices that reflect their position as students.
