“The college itself doesn’t offer a lot of ways to enjoy your free time, but fortunately the city of London compensates for that excellently. To not spend too much money, it’s important to learn quickly which neighbourhoods are the more affluent ones and which ones are more affordable.”

“I studied Engineering here, and I think prospective students should be prepared to work very hard because a lot of people never make it to the end of the course. The quality of teaching is wonderful here, but the workload is too demanding for some people.”

  • Students over the age of 18 can get an Oyster card, which is highly recommended to help offset the expense of travelling around London. Additionally, the central location of the campus means that there are public transport options in the surrounding area.
  • One of the main areas of this college is scientific research, and students can participate in important research publications related primarily to Medicine and Engineering.

CONS

  • A factor that always has to be considered before moving here is that London has an expensive cost of living, and this particularly impacts international students due to the conversion rates of the British Pound to other currencies.
  • International students express that orientation services could be improved for foreign students, due to a lack of English language classes and tutorials on how to open a British bank account.
