“Life here can be a bit stressful due to the workload, but it’s turned out well for me. Both the academic and the social aspects have been satisfying for me here, and I’m glad I chose to come here.”
“As a first year I was put into a flat with third-years so it was difficult to make friends and socialise in my case. I wish the accommodation staff thought through the whole process to not produce an alienating situation like that for their students. I would recommend applicants to clarify their living situation with the university before it’s too late to change it.”
About Leeds Trinity University
PROS
- It’s a small university, which helps staff and learners to get to know each other better. Many students prefer this small -scale approach to higher education than that of the more impersonal macro -universities.
- The university offers abundant job positions to help students earn a little income while still giving priority to their study obligations.
- In terms of ranking achievements, Leeds Trinity University has been ranked among the national top 120. Additionally, TEF has awarded the university with their Silver award.
CONS
- The campus is located far from the city centre, and it takes a while to get there by bus. This can become frustrating if you have to take the trip often.
- The organisation of the accommodation is often criticised, as first -year students are mixed with third -year students. Many feel that mixing students at different stages of their academic journey is not the best approach.
