“Thoroughly enjoyed my course and the opportunities offered. However, living on campus has felt isolating at times due to the university’s location outside of Liverpool centre.”
“I’ve found the experience on Hope’s Computer Science course to be enriching and educational, and I was even able to secure a position quickly post-graduation thanks to their practice of requiring those on our course to complete a work experience placement. This is one of the best subjects to make yourself employable today, and the skills you learn here are invaluable.”
About Liverpool Hope University
PROS
- In terms of accommodation, Hope has residences across their 3 campuses, at distinct prices for each. The majority of 1st year undergraduates at the Creative Campus will be allocated to Gerard Manley Hopkins Hall.
- Hope puts a significant emphasis on research, so students here may have the opportunity to author research publications. Some of their extensive research centres include the Popular Culture Research Group, the Vision and Cognition Research Group, and the Developmental Psychology Group.
CONS
- The campus is far from the city centre, which students express can have an isolating effect on them at times. Additionally, it limits employment prospects while students study.
- A recurring complaint from students is that the food on campus is expensive. Those living on campus accommodation may wish to prepare their own food.
