• Loughborough College has an exceptional academic reputation, and consistently earns TEF Gold standard awards and ‘Outstanding’ ratings from Ofsted. Students themselves report that the college manages to achieve an environment in which you don’t feel like another number, and that the staff care about you achieving your potential.
• Students will not have to rent potentially expensive private flats in Loughborough, due to the the fact that the college offers student residence halls to their learners. This accommodation is intended for those enrolled in both further education and higher education courses, and is located just a few minutes’ walking distance from the campus and the town centre.
• Small group sizes give each student the chance to participate and engage more in their lessons, and also means that teachers are able to give more individual feedback sessions when needed.

CONS

• A significant number of students complain that the courses can be quite disorganised, in the context of teachers frequently arriving late to their classes, and not knowing which room the class can use for a particular session.
