Founded in 1909, Loughborough University is located in the city of the same name, situated between Leicester and Nottingham. The university operates from two distinct campuses; the primary one in Loughborough, and the other in London. “Overall I have enjoyed my time at Loughborough university, my Robotics course has been the highlight, and I’ve learned even more than I expected to. The campus is visually impressive, but there isn’t much to do for a student in the area. For this reason a lot of resident students go to Leicester on their weekends.

“I loved being a student at Loughborough, there is a real sense of family and community spirit, which has definitely improved my overall experience.”

“Students are always encouraged by the university to take part in new experiences and opportunities such as excursions and study abroad initiatives. I would recommend it to those interested in sports, whether for competition or recreation.”
