About Macquarie University
PROS
- Offers free English classes for international students through their English Language Centre programme. Students new to Sydney really appreciate this as the classes also function as an introduction to the city and provide a chance to connect with other newcomers.
- There are flexible study options, including Double Degrees, PhD and Research Degrees, and the Undergraduate Degrees you might expect as well as online options.
- The facilities are exceptional, with some examples including the MUSE learning space, the Sport and Aquatic Centre, and the fully -functional Macquarie University Hospital.
CONS
- Students claim that some teachers are less helpful than others. While some teachers are happy to go the extra distance for you, others are hard to get a hold of to ask for help.
