“Despite the lack of uniformity for assignment marking and feedback, I am overall happy that I chose NTU. Most lecturers show high levels of knowledge in their respective fields, and they’re very flexible when it comes to arranging a quick feedback session.”
“The nightlife scene has surpassed my expectations. Even so, I think it would be good for the university to have more clubs and societies on-site to promote more social activity for those who don’t like going out at night.”
About Nottingham Trent University
PROS
- There are numerous residence halls to choose from, and in whichever halls you choose you will have a fully functioning kitchen complete with all the electric appliances you could hope for. Additionally, internet and energy bills are included in your fees.
- Many students express that teachers treat learners as equals, giving importance to their points of view and perspective during class debates.
- For those looking for the traditional university experience, Nottingham offers a vibrant nightlife scene.
CONS
- Many students mention that there is a lack of uniformity for assignment marking, and they would like to see more objectivity and standardisation in this regard.
- There’s a lack of clubs and societies to join, according to students. Fortunately Nottingham offers plenty of activities to enjoy to compensate for this.
