The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, a.k.a. RMIT University is a dual-sector educational institution. That is, RMIT is a public research university and a purveyor of vocational and technical training. The foundation campus is in Melbourne’s city centre, but there are two suburban campuses, just to the north of the city, where specific programmes are taught; engineering programmes and medical & social sciences are in Bundoora and vocational design programmes are taught in Brunswick. RMIT University has a strong reputation for the employability of its graduates. .
