“I’m proud to be part of Derby University. The location is very convenient from the students’ perspective, and the facilities are great in terms of transport, the library, and the course resources. The library is in a constant state of improvement as they invest a lot of funds into it every academic year.”

  • Students at Derby highlight the entertaining inter -hall competitions promoted by the university. Competitions include activities such as karaokes, sports, and so on.
  • Learners at Derby also appreciate being in a location well connected to the M1 and M6 motorways and being only 9 miles away from the nearest airport. This is particularly useful for international students when they arrive.
  • Ranked among the world’s top 1,000 by Times Higher Education. This may be useful for graduate students applying for high -level job positions.

CONS

  • Lecture time is limited to 12 hours per week, which numerous students have expressed is not enough for their needs.
  • Students have complained that the nightlife scene is almost non -existent. Those who are looking for the traditional university social experience may be disappointed here.
