The University of Leeds is a government funded research university based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The main campus is situated approximately one mile north of Leeds city centre, and is also close to the popular student neighbourhoods of Hyde Park, Woodhouse, and Headingley.

- The university’s location is a major convenience for students, as the campus is close to the city centre, but is also just 45 minutes away by bus from the historic city of York. This is a popular weekend escape for many Leeds residents.
