The University of Tasmania, or UTas, lays claim to the oldest college in Australia (1846) but the unirsity itself was founded 44 years later in Hobart, the Tasmanian capital. UTas considers that their campuses encompass the entire island, with its extraordinary scenery and creative community spirit.
