Vancouver Island University (VIU) is a publicly funded university whose main campus can be found in Nanaimo, British Colombia. The university also has regional campuses in Duncan and Powell River. VIU’s student body has been constantly expanding throughout the years, and because of this, the university has made many renovations and major improvements to its facilities, such as the Richard W. Johnston Centre for International Education.
