About Westminster Kingsway College
PROS
- This college offers the unique A -Level Intensives option, which allows students to earn their qualifications in just one year instead of the usual two. In addition to this, applicants can also find the course modalities that are usually associated with Further Education institutions, such as vocational courses, and T -Level study.
- For those people who do not have the time or perhaps resources to study on -campus, WKC offers a selection of free Online short courses. These courses impart valuable knowledge on subjects such as Basic Sign Language, Language Skills, Counselling, Digital Skills, and much more.
- Each campus building is designed to offer specialist resources; with King’s Cross Centre providing A -Level education, Victoria Centre hosting the Travel, Tourism and Culinary Arts courses, and Soho Centre offering a range of general vocational courses.
CONS
- A common complaint from students is that there are not a lot of social activities to enjoy on campus, due to low participation in campus events. This is likely due to the fact that this is a commuter college, meaning that students simply leave the campus when their classes for the day are over.
