Student Opinions About Studying in Phoenix
“The climate here is wonderful for the majority of the year, which is something you can’t say about too many cities. The desert scenery is one of a kind, and you have all kinds of trails for walking in the outdoors. Just watch out for scorpions!”
“Phoenix is a very spread out kind of city, and I definitely wouldn’t describe it as a walkable city, especially if you factor in the brutal summer temperatures which make being outside practically unbearable. On that note, if you want to turn up to a job interview without being drenched in sweat, you’re going to need a car realistically.”
“The employment situation here is the most promising for those who are in tech-related fields, but you can still see plenty of jobs being advertised in a number of different sectors. That said, it can be difficult to find a job in which you can ascend and get promoted; most of it is entry level work.”
