About this course
If you’re considering a career in exhibitions or events, this course could be ideal. It offers practical experience in running exhibitions and events, and you’ll study topics like design theory, branding and strategy for creative organisations.
You’ll gain essential skills for the curation, conception, resourcing, marketing and budgeting of an exhibition or event. You’ll study the principles of visitor experience, discover how to develop events for defined audiences and examine how to create meaning and message through exhibitions.
There are opportunities to work on real-world projects, delivering exhibitions and events for a client and getting work experience to help your future career.
Entry Requirements / Admissions
Minimum Required UCAS Tariff
Applicants will need a minimum of 112 tariff points from recognised level 3 qualifications. In additional candidates will need GCSE English at grades A*-C or comparable numeric scores under the newly reformed GCSE gradings. All application forms and personal statements will be read and considered. We are looking for creative, critical and ambitious students. We are keen to encourage students from a diverse range of backgrounds. Mature students and those with non-standard qualifications are welcome to apply and will be given the opportunity to meet with the course team to explore suitability and expectations. We are also looking for potential and applicants who do not meet the formal entry criteria may be considered if the course team judges the application demonstrates additional strengths or alternative evidence, for example related academic or work experience, the quality of the personal statement, a portfolio of practical work, a strong academic or professional reference, or a combination of these.

London costs approx 34% more than average, mainly due to rent being 67% higher than average of other cities. For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental. Founded in 1899, Kingston University is located in the suburban town of Kingston upon Thames, London. The university’s four campuses can be found in and around the town centre, with a free shuttle bus helping students to get there. This university offers what they call Flexi-stay accommodation, which allows students to book rooms in their residence halls for periods in which they expect to be studying exceptionally hard.
