In any organisation, facilities management is a distinct discipline that supports the core business relationship between people, process and place. This course is designed for estates and facilities managers who want to improve their skills, leadership, knowledge and experience to advance their career.

Applied learning

We use university-based block study in combination with self managed study time, so you can easily complete the course from anywhere within the UK or overseas. You can also study modules as and when it suits you, enabling you to progress at a pace that meets your needs and fits around your professional commitments.

Future careers

If you are employed in estates or facilities management, this qualification equips you with the skills to improve your performance and progress rapidly up the career ladder in areas such as property and premises management, facilities and general management.

Accredited by the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM), successful completion of the course gives you a level 7 IWFM Diploma in Facilities Management qualification and the formal professional certified membership (CIWFM). Upon graduation you also develop a route to the executive MBA in facilities management.

Accreditation

This course is accredited by the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM). The course offers a dual award, so you will receive the IWFM Level 7 Diploma and also a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration (Facilities Management). Successful completion of the course allows you to apply for the formal professional certified membership (CIWFM). We are a recognised Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) centre.

For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental.
