This four-year course provides you with practical training in contemporary biochemistry to ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of modern biochemistry. It also allows you to gain additional research experience, with a year-long masters-level research project in year four, preparing you for your future career or further postgraduate study.
Lab experience will be an integral part of your degree, as you engage in activities such as practical gene cloning and analysing proteins and enzymes in our specialist facilities.
With a diverse range of optional modules alongside a solid foundation of core modules, you can tailor the course to your interests.
