Course Description

Explore the political divisions and cultural uncertainty created by the great revolutions, the mobilisations and resistance of the two world wars and the transnational forces of empire and globalisation.

Historians have long been fascinated by modernity and the societies to which it gave rise. The MA Modern History explores these changes, allowing you to investigate the political cleavages and cultural uncertainty unleashed by the great revolutions, the mobilisations and resistance of the two world wars and the transnational forces of empire and globalisation.

Entry Requirements / Admissions

English Language Requirements: Overall IELTS score of 7.0 with a minimum of 6.5 in each component, or equivalent.

London costs approx 34% more than average, mainly due to rent being 67% higher than average of other cities. For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental.
