Course Description
Geography remains a very current and relevant subject, particularly in areas that focus on the environment. Adding a Business Management focus to Geography is an excellent way to open up a much wider range of career opportunities, whilst helping you to better understand the business, commercial and financial implications of the environment, the Earth, sustainability and many other key geography related areas of focus. Business Management at Aberdeen provides an opportunity to study Management on its own or alongside one of a large number of the other disciplines taught at the University. The degree integrates models and theories of managing people and organisations within the context of the external environment.
Geography is the study of the Earth's surface, with particular emphasis on the relationships between people and their environment. Few other subjects cover such a diversity of phenomena, combining elements of the natural sciences, the social sciences and the humanities. Developing a stronger understanding of key business, commercial and financial challenges and responsibilities will help you appreciate Geography as a subject, the environmental, sustainability, tourism and many other key areas of consideration.
