Course Description

Our Royal Society of Biology accredited Biochemistry BSc degree programme is the point where chemistry, biology and medicine meet. Biochemistry deals with the molecular nuts and bolts of living organisms and diseases.

Advances in the biosciences are having a profound impact on our daily lives, from human health to conservation, making it a hugely rewarding area to study and work in. This course allows you to spend a year of study at an overseas institution as part of your biochemistry degree.

The international year is intercalated between the second and final year of your course, making this a four-year course. For the international year you have a wide range of potential overseas destinations.
