Course Description
Researchers in Hispanic Studies at Birmingham have the opportunity to explore how the study of languages, discourses, and cultures challenges how we understand and experience the world.
Research activity in Hispanic Studies spans medieval to modern, embracing the history, literatures and cultures of Spain, Catalonia, the Hispanic Caribbean, Spanish America, Portugal and Brazil. It also encompasses the disciplines of Linguistics, Translation Studies and Cinema.
Hispanic Studies is part of the Department of Modern Languages, which boasts a vibrant and diverse postgraduate community and provides a range of support for its research students.

For students staying in student halls, costs of water, gas, electricity, wifi are generally included in the rental. The University of Birmingham is a research university based in Edgbaston, Birmingham, England.
